Creates and implements a strategic plan for all major organizational events and marketing/ communication initiatives.

Job Description: Events, Marketing and Communications Manager

Creates and implements a strategic plan for all major organizations events including Fall Gala, Phone-a-thon, and Running with Ed. The Events manager is responsible to develop and write sponsorship proposals and work to renew and recruit new sponsors; work with a committee of volunteers; oversee event budgets; support event promotion through social media; and work with event committees on audience development. Events, Marketing and Communications Manager will also be responsible for helping to develop and execute PCEF’s communications and marketing strategy throughout the year.


Job Requirements: excellent verbal and written skills, negotiation skills, proven ability to manage volunteer groups, and be a self-starter. Creative. Detail oriented. Proven track record of process improvement. Excellence in building and maintaining business and personal relationships. Ability to work well and inspire confidence in PCEF Board of Directors, staff, community leaders and volunteers.
