There is nothing quite like fall at Sundance. The natural beauty is even more vibrant as summer leaves turn to bright hues of orange, red, and yellow. Colors tend to change more quickly in the mountains than in the valley. In order to catch the colors in their peak on the alpine loop, on a scenic lift ride or on hike a good rule of thumb is to visit between the middle of September and the middle of October.
