“The methods of creating illustration have changed dramatically since I was in school with an Illustration Major many years ago. But the quality and innovation of contemporary illustrators featured in this exhibit are inspiring and a credit to this form of visual communication. Certainly technology has played a huge role in the development of illustration today but its foundation is due to the early illustrators who brought this method of communicating information to the forefront of our society. Some of these illustrators, members of the Hall of Fame of the Society of Illustrators, will be featured in the exhibit as selections from the collection of Paul Mann, Illustrator. The exhibit will instruct viewers on the importance of illustration and its power to communicate in today’s world along with its historical foundation. Bountiful/Davis Art Center is pleased to present this exhibit along with the amazing talent of well-known painters, Lester B. Lee and Aaron Bushnell.”
