The Salt Shaker Event Calendar Debuts as a Daily Short Feature 
on August 20, 2012

Call for Event Submissions 

Salt Lake City, UT:  90.9 KRCL Salt Lake City is pleased to announce the return of the daily on-air community calendar feature, now called The Salt Shaker beginning Monday, August 20. The short feature will run four times a day highlighting 3 to 4 events such as farmer’s markets, gallery strolls, film screenings, book signings, fundraisers, comedy shows and more.

Community and non-profit organizations who are shaking up Utah are encouraged to submit events to the The Salt Shaker Community Event Calendar on www.krcl.org and provide short 20–30 second Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) for consideration to saltshaker@krcl.org.

Event submissions should include event name, short description, date, time, place & contact information, preferably a web address. 

Submissions are on-going and do not guarantee an on-air produced spot. However, all submissions will be included online at krcl.org. 

KRCL 90.9FM strives to strengthen the community through KRCL CONNECTS, its new series of features, which highlight events, fundraisers, concerts, community news and change-makers in Utah.
