2012–13 Utah Arts Festival Gallery Season

Salt Lake City, UT: The Utah Arts Festival supports local artists year-round at its fine art gallery housed in the Festival offices, 230 South 500 West, Suite 120The Utah Arts Festival Gallery provides more exposure to artists who have participated with the Festival as well as showcasing new, emerging artists in the community. Matthew Jacobson is the gallery curator as well as the Artists Marketplace Coordinator for the annual summer Festival.
All Utah Arts Festival Gallery shows open with an artists’ reception from 6 to 9 pm in conjunction with the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll and continue for a month, with the exception of the Festival’s popular Holiday Show, which runs from November through December.

September 21–October 12: Abstraction with Clarence Bowman, Joseph Casalino, Jr., Jayne-Anne Mulholland
October 19–November 9: Hemolution with Trevin Prince
November 16–December 14 (Receptions on Nov.16 & Dec. 7): Holiday Show with Melody & Kurt Bellock, David Leslie, Michael Lucarelli, Sally Neilson, Marta Albee, Amber DeBirk, Marian McDevitt, Sandra Seifert, Patricia Street and Kay Wankier
January 18–February 8: Iconic Figures with Garrick Dean, Steven P. Jackson, Paula Montes, Cat Palmer
February 15–March 8: Destinations with Ashley Crist, Justin Lyons, Michael Rusnck, Cecil Whitt
March 15–April 12: Signs and Scenes with Kent Budge, Liza Julien, Stephanie Swift
April 19–May 10: Contemporary Artists / Traditional Techniques with Jeff Beck, Kathleen Carricaburu, Robert Hall, Elise LaJeunesse
May 17–June 7: Visual Perception / Light and Space with Verl Adams, Donald Greco and Gerald Nichols

Utah Arts Festival Gallery, 230 South 500 West, Suite 120. Open Monday through Friday 10am–5pm. (Extended hours during Gallery Stroll openings, until 9pm.)
