Greenshow Fan Photo Shoot @ UAF (Cedar City: June 9)

Be a Star and See a Play for Free at the Utah Shakespearean Festival

Cedar City, Utah—Local residents are invited to participate in the photo shoot for "The Greenshow" at the Utah Shakespearean Festival. The photo shoot will take place on Wed., June 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the "The Greenshow" stage (300 West Center Street). The first 100 people to arrive will receive a voucher for two FREE tickets to any summer preview performance from June 28 to July 7.

If you have always dreamed of being a star at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, now is your chance. People of all ages are invited to participate in the photo shoot, so bring the entire family. Photos taken at the shoot will appear in Festival publications, including the souvenir program, and advertisements in newspapers across the state.

"The Greenshow" runs from June 28 to Sept. 4 at 7 p.m., and will include two different programs on rotating nights, Scottish and Irish.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2010 season at bard.org and 1-800-PLAYTIX (800-752-9849). The summer season runs from June 28 to Sept. 4 and includes Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” “The Merchant of Venice,” and “Macbeth,” in addition to Alfred Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps,” Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice,” and a world premiere musical “Great Expectations.”
