Downtown SLC Living Tour
Visit the Downtown Farmers Market and tour downtown residential properties

Salt Lake City - The Downtown Alliance will offer Downtown SLC Living tours, Saturday, July 9, at 10 a.m. and noon. A bus will leave from the Downtown Farmers Market at historic Pioneer Park (on the corner of 300 West and 300 South). The guided tour will be 90 minutes with open houses of downtown residential properties like Broadway Towers, Patrick Dry Goods, Westgate Lofts, Broadway Park Lofts and other properties available from Urban Homes Utah.

Residential development downtown is at an all-time high with many new and renovated options available for occupancy. Over 30 new storefront businesses have opened downtown in the last year and City Creek Center is on schedule to open March 2012—downtown is the place to live, work, shop, dine and play.

Space is limited and first come first served. Interested participants should sign up at the Downtown Living booth at the Farmers Market on Saturday (near the corner of 300 West and 300 South).

Media is invited. There will be interview opportunities with representatives from each property.

The Downtown Living Tour is sponsored by the Downtown Alliance, Allen Milo Associates, Salt Lake Redevelopment Agency and Urban Utah Homes and Estates.

For a complete listing of special events at the Downtown Farmers Market, crop schedule and detailed information visit www.slcfarmersmarket.org.

The 2011 Downtown Farmers Market and Art & Craft Market is open Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 11-Oct. 22 and Tuesday evenings Aug.-Oct. The market—with over 250 vendors—offers a unique variety of farmers, growers, bakeries, prepared food and beverages, packaged foods and local artisans.

The Downtown Alliance is dedicated to building a dynamic and diverse community that is the regional center for culture, commerce and entertainment. For more information, visit downtownslc.org.
