The Utah Arts Alliance presents the 2nd Annual CONNECT fundraiser, an event that showcases emerging and established Local Artists.

The December CONNECT is an annual event that showcases the pieces chosen in the monthly Connect, holds a silent auction and announces the 2012 CONNECT Grant Recipients. To help fund Connect throughout the year, we ask for a $10 donation at the door. The monthly CONNECT is a networking event where artists from the community showcase work to their peers and fellow artists vote for their favorite art, hear from guest speakers, and get feedback for their art. CONNECT serves most types of visual arts: painters, sketch artists, sculptural artists, photographers, mixed media artists and more.

This annual event holds the opportunity for art lovers to acquire exciting pieces from local artists. The Silent Auction portion of the event will have up for bid pieces from Cat Palmer, Keith Eccles, Blake Palmer, Lindsey Kerr, Chris Madsen, Brittney Johnson, Nick Ferrin, Analyssa Powell and Darlene Hoganson to name a few.

December CONNECT will host a performance by local musical group Theta Naught. The energy and emotion expressed during a Theta Naught live performance is something not to be missed, as these talented musicians improvise powerful aural imagery.
