Get tickets now for the 2013 Utah Arts Festival Masquerade Party and Texas Hold 'Em Tournament
Save the date now for the soiree of the year -- the Utah Arts Festival 2013 Masquerade Party and Texas Hold 'Em Tournament, coming February 23. Bigger and better than ever, the event makes an exciting move to The Rail, 235 North 500 West in Salt Lake City. The Texas Hold 'Em tournament begins at noon, with the final table at 7 p.m during the party. The Masquerade Party will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. This event is for those 21 and older.
Chase away your wintertime blues and support the Utah Arts Festival by joining in the Masquerade merriment. Make sure and wear the most fabulous mask you can find, because there are wonderful prizes awarded to the night's most creative looks. Masquerade activities also include just-for-fun casino gaming, memorable music, and delectable dining delights prepared by the talented students of the Art Institute of Salt Lake City.
Plan to save plenty of room for dessert, too. The Girl Scouts of Utah are sponsoring this year's feast-ending treats. Though Girl Scout Cookies will not be available for the general public until March, the scouts have arranged a sneak-preview dessert table inspired by, and made with, their world-famous goodies.
Masquerade party tickets are $50, and include foods and non-alcoholic beverages, one complimentary beer or wine, 10 points toward casino gaming, and one entry for the night-ending grand prize drawing. A suggested donation of $50 is requested to enter the Texas Hold 'Em Tournament. Or, you can save money and spend an entire fun-filled day with the Double Down Discount, which includes both tournament and party for only $75.
Better yet, this year for the first time you can bring your buddies and business associates along and share a table. The Masquerade offers VIP tables of up to 8 for just $600. Tables include two bottles of wine, plus bar concierge service for line-free purchases of additional drinks. Each guest at your table will also receive a drink ticket for a complimentary beer or wine, and 20 points to use on just-for-fun gaming.
