During his time at SUNY Brockport he was a touring and performing intern with Garth Fagan Dance performing at renowned stages such as The Joyce Theater. Justin is a versatile performer with a technical background in Cecchetti ballet and has studied a variety of modern dance techniques including Paul Taylor, May O’Donnell, Contemporary Modern Release, hip-hop and Jazz, (Fosse, Luigi and Broadway Jazz). He enjoys teaching and is interested in developing his choreographic skill.

On Friday, June 28 we completed another successful Summerdance workshop. Over 40 students from around the country worked for two weeks with Nina Watt from the Jose Limon Dance Company and Kurt Koegel from Moving Research. Thank you to all the amazing dancers who attended and for all the hard work you put in. We loved having you!
Anne-Marie Robson Smock attended Kurt Koegel's portion of Summerdance 2013 and wrote about her experience on loveDANCEmore.org. Check out her full recap from each day here.

On the Wish List: Help Digitize RDT

Summerdance has ended, but RDT dancers and guests are still busy learning the monumental Jose Limon work “Missa Brevis." Currently, RDT is still using an analog video recorder, a hurdle when it comes to transferring that to a disc then to a computer, then to another computer where it can be edited.
Can you help us out? We’re looking for a donation of a gently used or new digital video camera and accompanying tripod to use in our studio.

Be a part of history. Be the one to digitize RDT! If you're interested, contact David Pace atdavid@rdtutah.org or 801-534-1000.

We gratefully acknowledge these entities for their generous support of RDT's development of modern dance as an art form - to create, perform, preserve and inspire. Artistic, production and publicity support for RDT's 2013-2014 legendary season is provided by:
