Babcock Performing Readers presents

December 15, 2011, 7:30 p.m.

The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t

By Ogden Nash

What I Don’t Want for Christmas

By Phyllis Mcginley

Directed by Dr. Shirlee H. Shields

A multi media reader’s theatre featuring two of America’s favorite poets writing with humor and pathos about the Christmas season. Find the answer to “Who wakens King Wencelaus and why?” And the tender story of an old woman who went out too late to find the Christ child in “Ballad for Befana.” “Why does Christmas come so early?” Just a few of the season treats with added music and caroling. Bring your friends and family for this early Christmas gift.
