Works by Verl Adams, Blake Palmer & Miranda Whitlock

Salt Lake City, UT: The Utah Arts Festival Gallery presents Perception multimedia work by Verl Adams, Blake Palmer and Miranda Whitlock March 16 through April 13 at the Festival headquarters, 230 South 500 West, Suite 120.
Verl Adams is an architect and photographer. He utilizes photography, as one of several methods, to study and better understand different qualities of light and shadow, perception, scale and time. Verl emphasizes these elements in his work as an architect and designer, and also in the classroom at the University of Utah, where he teaches architectural design studios at the School of Architecture. Verl has practiced architecture in Japan, California and Utah, where he currently resides.
Blake Palmer was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Fullerton College with a degree in graphic design and illustration and has overcome many obstacles in life including dyslexia. Blake works as a full-time graphic designer and currently resides in Northern Utah.
Miranda Whitlock was born in Logan, Utah. She studied photography and art history at the University of Utah where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010. She is the recipient of the Carmen Morton Christensen Endowment, Departmental Merit Award and the Jack and Florence Sears Scholarship. She has exhibited throughout the state of Utah including the University of Utah Student Invitational at the Williams Fine Art Gallery.
Artists’ reception, in conjunction with the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll, is Friday, March 16 from 6 to 9 pm.
Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm.
The Utah Arts Festival Gallery is housed in the Festival headquarters, 230 South 500 West, Suite 120.
