Box Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator @ Davis Arts Council




Salary: $10-12/hour (Based on experience)
Job Description: The Box Office Manager/Volunteer Coordinator supports the office and onsite (Kenley Amphitheater) duties of the Executive Director and Assistant Director. This organized, detail oriented, people person will manage box office activities, box office personnel, and Arts Council volunteers. As the public face of the organization, the box office manager will represent the Davis Arts Council through telephone and personal interaction, sell tickets, create detailed schedules, maintain mailing lists, complete paper work related to ticket sales, keep updated patron and event information, and help with office and event related duties.

Requirements:

- Computer proficient
- High School Diploma or GED required (Prefer Associate’s Degree+)
- Ability to learn quickly and remember details
- Customer service experience
- High level of professionalism, honesty, and organization
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills, time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
- Comfortable working on the phone with customers in a high activity environment
- Ability to listen to customer challenges and issues, provide assistance towards a potential resolution, and encourage sales
- Stable, relevant work history
- Sense of humor
