Evening in the Art – October 29, 2010
Join us for the 2nd annual ‘Evening in the Art’ benefit for Bountiful/Davis Art Center, 745 S. Main Street in Bountiful. Enjoy an evening of entertainment provided by The Two Sopranos and Three Tenors. ‘The LeConte Stewart Festival’ exhibit featuring numerous works by LeConte Stewart, his contemporaries and artists influenced by his work will be displayed throughout the galleries. Also, a creative, independent film festival will be playing downstairs in the Joy Foundation.

This year, there is a twist to the art sale/auction. Known artists in the community were delivered small canvases to craft into works of art and donate to the Art Center. These will be unveiled and on sale for $99 each or two for $150. Other works of art will be auctioned as well.

Attendees will literally be ‘In the Art’ as they enjoy this formal event. Tickets are $30/person, $35/person at the door. Members of BDAC may purchase tickets for $20/person. Contact BDAC about membership benefits. Memberships are available online. Tickets are available by calling Bountiful/Davis Art Center: 801 292-0367 or online: www.bdac.org.

Appetizing hors d’oeuvres and desserts will round out this formal evening of art.

Here is what some of the attendees of last year’s event said:

“It was an elegant, festive evening with superb entertainment; one of the best that Bountiful has had to offer in my memory. It was lovely”.
Representative Sheryl Allen, Utah State Legislature

“This event was a great idea and added class to the whole art arena in our city. It was a very classy event. I congratulate the staff of Bountiful/Davis Art Center”.
Joe Johnson, Mayor of Bountiful

“What an amazing evening; the sopranos were able to give us all types of music and they each had a unique personality to give to their songs. The opportunity to dress up along with the great food and décor made this evening a treat and I hope this becomes an annual event; I loved it!”
Beth Holbrook, Bountiful City Council

“Evening in the Art gave Bountiful and South Davis County residents an opportunity to enjoy both exquisite artwork and a program of three of the finest soprano divas Utah has to offer. It was nice not to have to travel outside Davis County to participate in such an outstanding arts experience.”
John Marc Knight, Bountiful City Council
