Bountiful/Davis Art Center has Two Part Time Positions Open
BOUNTIFUL, Utah, October 5, 2010 – Bountiful/Davis Art Center has an opening for two qualified persons to be the Administrative Assistant and the Education Coordinator of a major community art center located in Davis County, Utah.
Administrative Assistant - The candidate must have experience in QuickBooks and be proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other tasks related to tracking financial operations. Candidate must have some knowledge of working with databases and tracking information. The Administrative Assistant will also schedule appointments for the Director, answer phones, assist with mailings and other tasks related to the programs and operations of the Art Center.
Education Coordinator-The candidate must have good computer skills and be experienced in graphic design applications. Experience and proficiency in Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and layout/design software is preferred. Organization skills and working well with people are a must. In addition to assisting with exhibits and other programs of the Art Center, the Coordinator will be planning all aspects of the Education Program at Bountiful/Davis Art Center. Candidates with experience in working with volunteers, arts education and who have strong leadership qualities will be strongly considered. A bachelor’s degree in the arts or a related field and/or 2 or more years experience in working or volunteering with a non-profit or arts organization is preferred.
Both jobs are 20 hours a week with salary based on $10/hr. Some benefits are available after a probationary period. The candidates must be flexible and able to work some evenings and Saturdays. The positions will begin December of 2010.
