VIVA FRIDA reception @ WSU (Ogden: May 4)


Dear WSU & Community members:
The Weber State University (WSU) Hispanic Area Council (HAC) and WSU students invite you to attend the VIVA FRIDA reception (a free art, educational, and community event). Frida Kahlo, famous Mexican painter best known for her Surrealism, Realism and Symbolism, has achieved great international popularity. Frida Kahlo used vibrant colors in a style that was influenced by indigenous cultures of Mexico as well as by European influences.

students and their families.
Hosted by: WSU Hispanic Area Council

Frida Kahlo's exhibition will run May 3rd through May 18th at the Kimball Arts Building Gallery at Weber State University (3850 Harrison, Ogden, UT).

The exhibition will feature: Frida Kahlo work, High School students from the Ogden School District, and local artists.
