On Exhibit at The City Library
New and Ongoing Exhibits through the Month of November
October
2, 2012-Salt Lake City-Salt Lake City Public Library is committed to
providing the community with access to art, featuring works from local
creators, and exhibitions that enhance the Library´s offerings.
In
November, illustrator Eleora Nelson's exhibit is on display in the
Children´s Gallery at the Main Library. Nelson, an accomplished artist
and teacher is working to have her first children´s book, "Oscar the
Nearsighted Dachshund" published in the next year. She will teach an
illustrationworkshop, "Cool Cartooning with Eleora Nelson" for kids age
6-18 on November 3 at 2pm in the Children´s Library. Registration is
required for this workshop, and can be done by calling the Children´s
Library at 801-322-8106. A reception will follow the workshop at 3pm.
Nelson´s work will be on display through November 30.
