Facts or Fiction? Get the Truth About 'Obamacare'
Local experts weigh in at the Salt Lake City Public Library before Election Day

October 24, 2012-Salt Lake City- The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has been hotly debated since it was signed into law in March 2010. For a conversation that extends beyond the standard political rhetoric, The City Library presents a panel discussion featuring a variety of experts to hash out the details of one of the major factors in this election cycle. On October 29, at 7pm in the Main Library Auditorium, fact will be separated from fiction, so voters can make informed decisions as they enter the voting booth next month.

Moderated by KCPW´s Jennifer Napier-Pearce, this discussion will feature Judi Hilman, Executive Director of the Utah Health Policy Project, Norman Waitzman, Professor in Economics and Health, Society, and Policy at the University ofUtah, and Stan Rasmussen, Director of Public Affairs from the Sutherland Institute.

This event is sponsored by The Barbara L. and Norman C. Tanner Center for Nonviolent Human Rights Advocacy-University of Utah, KCPW, and the University of Utah Program in Health, Society, and Policy.

The City Library is committed to presenting events that provide its patrons, and the citizens of Salt Lake and the surrounding area, a broad spectrum of ideas and viewpoints that can help them make educated choices in their cultural and civic lives.
