Local experts weigh in at the Salt Lake City Public Library before Election Day
October 24, 2012-Salt Lake City- The Patient
Protection and Affordable Care Act has
been hotly debated since it was signed into law in March 2010. For a
conversation that extends beyond the standard political rhetoric, The
City Library presents a panel discussion featuring a variety of experts
to hash out the details of one of the major factors
in this election cycle. On October 29, at 7pm in the Main Library
Auditorium, fact will be separated from fiction, so voters can make
informed decisions as they enter the voting booth next month.
Moderated
by KCPW´s Jennifer Napier-Pearce, this discussion will feature Judi
Hilman, Executive Director of the Utah Health Policy Project, Norman
Waitzman, Professor in Economics and Health, Society, and Policy at the
University ofUtah, and Stan Rasmussen, Director
of Public Affairs from the Sutherland Institute.
This
