A public forum on the future of Salt Lake County
As Election Day draws nearer, the need for dialogue on the issues that shape the civic landscape becomes increasingly important. Join Salt Lake County Mayoral Candidates Mark Crockett and Ben McAdams for a discussion on the future of Salt Lake County at 7pm on Friday, October 19, in the Main Library Auditorium.
The discussion, moderated by KUED-TV’s Ken Verdoia, will focus on issues that matter most to the citizens of Salt Lake County, including management of a booming population, environmental protection, and the economy. Ample time will be reserved for audience questions, and a public reception will follow the discussion.
This debate is made possible by the Hinckley Institute of Politics, the Tanner Humanities Center, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Utah, as well as the League of Women Voters of Salt Lake.
