Artist Talk: Jann Haworth

American Pop artist and pioneer of sort sculpture Jann Haworth will discuss her current work. She will also speak about her piece Charm Bracelet, the artwork acquired for the UMFA by the Young Benefactors Council last year.

Event for Educators: Book Arts

Palette to Palate: New Trends in Art and Wine
Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 6:30-8:30 p.m. | $39 + Special Fee: $25.00 = $64.00 | UMFA Members receive a $3 discount
Art Historian Laura Hurtado will guide participants through a tour of six examples of modern and contemporary art, and certified sommelier Michael Roussin will guide a parallel exploration of the influences and flavors of six contemporary wines. Third Saturday for Families: Print Your Own Postcard
Saturday, November 17, 2012, 1:00-4:00 p.m. | Free
Participants will get inspiration from the fabulous art books on display and then make their own print on a postcard. Funded in part by the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks Fund.
