October 10 & 11, 2013, 7:00pm - Samba Fogo is proud to present
Elementos, an all ages show at the Rose Wagner Center for Performing
Arts. This interactive showcase will feature Afro-Brazilian dance,
live music, martial art, fire dance and even aerial dance! Samba Fogo
will weave traditional and contemporary art forms together to tell
legends from Afro-Brazilian folklore and celebrate the rich cultural
history of Brazil. This high-energy, 60-minute show will feature a
cast of over 20 professional dancers, musicians, martial artists, fire
artists, and aerial artists. It will educate, excite, and enliven Utah
audiences from diverse generations, and audience members will leave
with a sense of joy and a better understanding of Brazil's rich
cultural heritage.
Time: 7pm
Price: $10 for ages 18 and under, $20 general, $50 for a family of
four (two adults two children), $80 for a group of ten age 18 and
under, $200 for a group of 30 age 18 and under.
Ages: 3+, no babes in arms.
