Hogle Zoo Marks 13th Zoo Rendezvous
SALT LAKE CITY (Aug. 30) - It's once again time for the wildest party in town as Utah's Hogle Zoo gears up for its 13th annual Zoo Rendezvous, set to take place Thursday, Sept. 9, from 6 to 11 pm.
Zoo Rendezvous guests will be treated to the culinary delights of over 25 of Utah's finest and most well known restaurants, as well as live music and unique animal encounters. Adding to the excitement of Zoo Rendezvous will be the opportunity for guests to walk away with one-of-a-kind items and packages during an evening-long silent auction.
Falling in line with Hogle Zoo's mission to provide the best care for its animals, proceeds from the Zoo Rendezvous will go directly toward animal care and exhibit improvements. Tickets for Zoo Rendezvous are $150 and include unlimited dining and beverages, plus perusal of the Zoo grounds throughout the night, including cart tours. No guests under the age of 21 are permitted.
Guests looking for an evening getaway can take advantage of a partnership with the close-by Marriott University Park hotel. For only $69 guests will receive a one-night-stay at the hotel, as well as breakfast for two and transportation to and from the event.
"As we prepare for the 13th annual Zoo Rendezvous this year, it's exciting to see how something that was a little-known event attended by approximately 450 people has grown into the 'Wildest Party in Town" with nearly 1,000 Zoo Rendezvous loyal followers attending every year," Associate Director- Development Eve Mary Verde said.
