In recognition of the important role museums have in protecting Utah's treasures, Governor Gary R. Herbert signed a public service document declaring September 25, 2010 as "Utah Museum Day."
This day is a celebration of the ways museums enrich our lives and our communities. This is a special statewide event where participating museums are open on the same day, offering special activities with a free admission.
Get more information and a link to register your museum for Utah Free Museum Day by going to www.artsandmuseums.utah.gov/museumday.html. The information on this page will be continuously updated as more of your sign up.
The Utah Division of Arts & Museums, the Utah Museums Association, and the International Daughters of Utah Pioneers are working together again this year to help you promote this event.
