January at the Summit County Arts Council

January 1-9 - The Kimball Art Center presents Ansel Adams: Early Works in the Main Gallery.

January 1-12 - The Kimball Art Center presents Amy Pruzan: Reflections in the Badami Gallery and Carolyn Guild: Affirmations of Spirits in the Garage Gallery.

January 6 & 13 - Open Mic Night at the Kimball Art Center at 7pm.

January 7-8 - Don't think women can be funny? Come to the Egyptian Theatre at 8:30pm and be proven wrong!

January 7-9 - Park City Film Series presents Inside Job.

January 8 - The Park City Performing Arts Foundation presents an acoustic Crash Test Dummies at 7:30pm in the Eccles Center.

January 9 - John Flanders & Double Helix CD release party at the Egyptian Theatre. Show starts at 6pm.

January 9-12 - The Park City Chamber Music Society presents a Winter Classics Music Festival in private homes throughout the region. Check their website for times and places.

January 12 - Applications are due for the Spring 2011 Spiro Artists in Residence program.

January 14-15 - Jason Hewlett brings his One Man Comedy & Music Show to the Egyptian Theatre. Show Starts at 8pm.

January 14-16 - Park City Film Series Presents Tamara Drewe.

January 15 - Gallery MAR opens the "Natural Impressions" exhibit featuring Lisa Lamoreaux, Amy Reingholz, and Brad Stroman.

January 15 - The Park City Performing Arts Foundation presents Sir Ken Robinson at 7:30 at the Eccles Center.

January 20-30 - Sundance Film Festival takes place at many locations around Summit County. Check out their website for tickets and a catelogue of movies.

Through March 16 - The Park City Museum presents a special exhibit: Our Lives, Our Stories: America's Greatest Generation.
