Ballet West is committed to providing quality education programs that allow teachers and students of all ages to experience the joy and magic of live ballet regardless of financial or geographical barriers. The Ballet West Educational and Outreach program has four main components: I CAN DO, Ballet West for Children, Ballet West In-Theatre Performances and First Look.
In 1963 Ballet West began education programs for students and teachers of all ages. Each year, Ballet West Educational and Outreach programs serve more than 20 districts, over 320 schools and nearly 80,000 throughout the state. In addition, Ballet West serves numerous home schools and special needs groups.
Ballet West Educational and Outreach programs are supported by generous contributions from public minded corporations, individuals, foundations, government agencies and by a broad base of community support.
Ring Around the Rose is Repertory Dance Theatre's wiggle-friendly series of performances for children and families that explores the magical world of the arts, including dance, theatre, music and storytelling.
All shows begin at 11am at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W Broadway, SLC. Ring Around The Rose is supported in part by: Utah Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Salt Lake City Arts Council/Arts Learning Grant, and the Salt Lake County Zoo Arts and Parks Program.
