Utah Arts Festival teams with Uinta Brewing Company to create

Arts Fest Amber Ale

Salt Lake City, UT: The Utah Arts Festival is pleased to announce that Uinta Brewing Company has created a special beer for the Festival, running June 23–26 on Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City.

For the last 15 years, Uinta has partnered with the Festival and has featured their beers for Festival patrons. This year, in honor of the Festival’s 35th Anniversary, the team at Uinta has created a special brew, the Arts Fest Amber Ale.

“We’ve been so pleased with our partnership with Uinta,” says Festival Director Lisa Sewell, “to have them create a beer just for us is an honor.”

Uinta will also feature its new Crooked Line series at its own Crooked Line booth on the Festival grounds. Visitors will have the opportunity to try the series and discuss the nuances of each beer with Uinta brewmasters. Crooked Line beers will also be paired with gourmet food pairings from Master Chef Robert “Sully” Sullivan of Utah Food Services at the Epicuriosity booth.

“The parings of Uinta’s specialty beers with Chef Sully’s fare just further emphasizes that brewing and cooking are art forms,” adds Sewell. “And delicious ones, at that.”

Arts Fest Amber Ale will only be available during the Utah Arts Festival.

The 2011 Utah Arts Festival runs Thursday, June 23 through Sunday, June 26 from noon to 11 p.m. on Library Square, 400 South and 200 East in downtown Salt Lake City.

Adult admission is $10 at the gate, $7 in advance. Children 12 and under are free. Seniors 65 and above are $5. Reduced adult admission is $5 and available from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
