NEWS: Live International Folk Music and Dance from Martinique and Taiwan!

"World Travelers" from Martinique and Taiwan present Traditional Folk Music and Dance while visiting Utah
 
WHAT:           International performing artists from Martinique and Taiwan visit the Cultural Center for an evening of traditional International ethnic                                     music and dance.

WHO:              Everyone is invited to the World Travelers concert free of charge.  The Q4U BBQ Truck will be on hand selling tasty dishes and drinks at a fair price.  http://q4ubbqtruck.com/
 
 
WHY:              Since 2009 the WorldStage! concert series has presented folk musicians and dancers from around the world. The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is pleased to continue its partnership with Bountiful Davis Art Center in 2013 by presenting folk music and dance traditions from Martinique and Taiwan. Explore your world!
                       
Ballet Les Fonds Blancs comes to Utah from the city of Le Francois on the small island of Martinique, located about 275 miles north of the coast of Venezuela in the eastern Caribbean Sea.  The Taiwan Music Ensemble is based out of Taipei, Taiwan, officially the Republic of China.  The culture of Taiwan is mainly a derivative traditional Chinese culture with Japanese influences from the colonial era.
