NEWS: Salt Lake Acting Company

SATURDAY’S VOYEUR 2013 EXTENSION ANNOUNCED!

Salt Lake City has been flocking to SATURDAY’S VOYEUR 2013 and they have demanded more! Originally set to close September 1, Salt Lake Acting Company will extend the summer hit one more week and close the show on September 8, 2013. This will give audiences a chance to see the show if they haven’t yet or come back with their friends and family to see it again! The ultimate summer party will party on a bit longer – don’t be left out!

We think our audiences say it best: “I haven’t laughed this hard in years….and I voted for Romney!”, “Last year was good but this year kicked ass! You out-did yourselves!”  and finally, “For anyone who has ever lived here, this show is a life-line. It always is and always has been.” We love making our audiences happy and SLAC is thrilled to be able to extend the run.

SATURDAY’S VOYEUR 2013 picks up on Election Day November 4, 2012 in downtown Salt Lake’s Church Office Building (the COB). We are reacquainted and introduced to the COB’s Elders, tour guides, Security Guards and all the secret tunnels emanating from “Subfloor 6.” Ready to take America back on this historic day, the building buzzes with the anticipation of ‘member’ Mitt Romney’s presidential victory and his restoration of traditional ‘values’ into the newly Mormon White House. VOYEUR entertains with what could have been.  Along the way it also sings and dances its way through the Mayan ‘End of the World” prophesy as seen through the eyes of the Angel Moroni, a beautiful young intern’s Internet love affair with football star, Manti T’eo, the heartbreak of Latter Gay Scouts, nineteen year old women in the mission field “flirting to convert”, immigration, guns and the plight of Democrats in Utah.

SATURDAY’S VOYEUR runs Wednesdays through Sundays now through September 8th at SLAC and is recommended for mature audiences.
