The Office Manager will be responsible for providing front-end administrative support for offices at Abravanel Hall and the Cheif Operations Officer.
Job Description: The Office Manager will be responsible for providing front-end administrative support for Utah Symphony | Utah Opera offices at Abravanel Hall, i.e. answering phones, managing correspondence, receiving deliveries, greeting visitors, handling general inquiries, and ordering office supplies. Additionally, the Office Manager will provide executive support to the Sr. Vice President & Chief Operations Officer (COO), i.e. coordinating the schedule and assisting with the correspondence of the COO and assisting with general HR related tasks and other projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized
Must have excellent writing, customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft programs (spreadsheets and word processing).
Degree in Music and understanding of arts organizations a definite plus, but not necessary.
