The Weber State University Department of Performing Arts presents the WSU Guitar Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, in the Eccles Theater, Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts. The WSU Guitar Ensemble is directed by Todd Woodbury. This concert is free, and it is open to the public. Children 8 years and older are welcome to attend. This program often plays to a full house. Arrive early to guarantee a place in the audience.
The program will present classical guitar solos, duets, trios and quartets. While the fall concert focuses on Baroque music, the spring concert will also include more contemporary composers such as Villa-Lobos, Bizet, Carcassi, Fauré and Tarrega.
