Bountiful/Davis Art Center is now accepting entries into the 2014 Annual Statewide Competition. This is one of the longest-running juried visual arts exhibitions in Utah highlighting works of Utah’s most creative visual artists. Please pass this information on to any artists you know who may be interested in having an exhibit at BDAC.

2014 Annual Statewide Competition
Call For Entries
March 7 - April 4
Eligibility: Open to all professional artists living in Utah.
Entry Criteria: A maximum of three entries per artist. Original work only, no copies, completed within the past two years and never before exhibited at the Bountiful/Davis Art Center. All entries must be dry, suitably framed, ready for hanging/installation.
Entry Fees: BDAC members $5.00 per entry. Non-members $10.00 per entry. All fees are non-refundable.
Recieving: Tuesday, February 18 - Saturday, February 22 from 10:00am. to 5:00pm. No entries will be accepted after 5:00pm on the 22nd. Our address is 28 South State Street, Farmington, UT 84025. Entries juried into the exhibit will be posted online at www.bdac.org on Tuesday, February 25.
Entries not juried in to be picked-up Wednesday, February 26 through Friday, February 28, from 10:00am. to 5:00pm.
Accepted Entries to be picked-up Monday, April 7 through Friday, April 11 from 10:00am. - 5:00pm.
Awards:
1st place: $600 2nd place: $350 3rd place: $175.00
Opening reception for the community and artists will be on
Friday, March 7, at 7:00pm.The Awards Ceremony will be at 8:00pm.
Juror: Pat Poce, Executive Director of Eccles Art Center
Liability: Every precaution will be taken to protect entries. All accepted entries will be insured from the date of entry through April 11, 2014. Unaccepted entries will be insured from the date of entry through February 28, 2014. No artwork will be insured beyond April 11, 2014. Work left after that date is at artist’s risk.
Sales: Sale of artwork is encouraged and handled by BDAC with the art center retaining 35%. All items sold will remain on display until the end of the exhibit.
Dates to remember:
● 18 February - 22 February - entries accepted.
No entries will be accepted after 5:00pm on 22
February.
● 25 February - accepted entries posted online.
● 26 - 28 February, 10:00am - 5:00pm - pick-up entries not juried into the show.
● 7 - 11 April, 10:00am - 5:00pm - pick-up accepted
entries.
Beacause storage space is limited at this location, please be prompt in picking up artwork. Thank you.
