IN ANNUAL EXHIBITION

Southern Utah University, Cedar City, Utah: A spectacular showcase from the remarkable portfolios of SUU’s Art and Design Faculty will be on view during the annual Art and Design Faculty Exhibition. The show opens at SUU’s Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery on Thursday January 9, 2014 at 7pm and runs until Saturday, February 15. The exhibition is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 7:00pm. The event is free and open to the general public who are encouraged to attend.
This remarkable retrospective provides a truly engaging showcase of diverse medium including photography, painting, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, sculpture, quilt art, watercolors and so much more. Featured artists include Elayna Clegg, Rheana Gardner, Jessica Gerlach, Yidan Guo, Susan Harris, Jeffrey Hanson, Brian Hoover, Andrew Marvick, Jeremias Paul, Christopher Ralphs, Deborah K. Snider, JungYun Son, Ron Spears, Benjamin Sowards, Carrie Trenholm and Russell Wrankle.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE
The Southern Utah University College of Performing and Visual Arts is comprised of nationally accredited departments of Art and Design, Music, Theatre Arts and Dance, as well as a graduate program in Arts Administration and a Center for Shakespeare Studies. The College offers 16 different degree areas, including liberal arts Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees; professional Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Fine Arts in art and theatre degrees; and a Master of Fine Arts in Arts Administration degree. More than 60 full- and part-time faculty and staff are engaged in teaching and mentoring over 550 majors in the College. Over 1100 students enroll each year in over 195 arts classes on the SUU campus. The College presents 100 performances, lectures, presentations, and exhibitions each year.
