Salt Lake City, UT, November 9, 2010: KRCL 90.9 launches its first annual winter fundraiser, The Polar Jubilee on Friday, December 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Salt Lake Hardware Building (105 North 400 West).
Equal parts 31st birthday party, fundraiser and winter carnival, The Polar Jubilee features local music by Joshua Payne Orchestra, Mad Max and the Wild Ones Rockabilly Holiday Show and Spell Talk.
Bad Brad Wheeler will host the Hanukkah Harmonica Army to commemorate the Festival of Lights. Guests will have the opportunity to learn and play, in unison, verses of “Hava Nagila” on harmonicas. (Available for purchase for a nominal price.)
Ms. Claus and Elvis Santa (as played by performance artist Princess Kennedy and KRCL DJ Circus Brown) will be checking the naughty and nice lists. David Brewer Photo Booth will snap party shots and revelers will have the opportunity to win prizes from Voile, Red Butte Garden Summer Concert Series, local restaurant gift certificates and more.
Appetizers and beverages will be available from Cali’s Natural Foods, Eva, Frida Bistro and The Tin Angel Café, Effen Vodka, Cruzan Rum, Hornitos Tequila, Bohemian Brewery, Uinta Brewing Co, and Bottleneck Wines.
Tickets for KRCL’s Polar Jubilee are $30 and may be purchased online at krcl.org.
