Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 4–8 pm
Where:

Why:
Over fifteen of Salt Lake City’s top consignment artists are gathering to share their locally made and globally inspired artwork at the UMFA Holiday Trunk Sale. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and purchase an abundance of hand-made items influenced by art and culture from around the world, including jewelry, pottery, and wearable works of art. Trunk Sale visitors will meet the artists, learn about their creation process, and discover the unique artistic or cultural motivation behind each piece.
Holiday Trunk Sale customers will enjoy free admission with their families, nibble on free snacks, listen to music, and stock up on unique, hand-made items for everyone on their holiday shopping list.
Thanks to Salt Lake County taxpayers, the ZAP (Zoo, Arts, and Parks) Fund enables the UMFA to open its doors to Utah residents free of charge on the first Wednesday of each month. The UMFA’s 2nd Annual Holiday Trunk Sale is supported in part by Cuisine Unlimited, Rico Mexican Market, and Le Croissant.
