The Weber State University Department of Performing Arts presents the WSU Guitar Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 29, in the Allred Theater, Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts. The WSU Guitar Ensemble is directed by Todd Woodbury. This concert is free, and it is open to the public. Children 8 years and older are welcome to attend. This program often plays to a full house. Arrive early to guarantee a place in the audience.
This year’s fall concert will feature the music of Renaissance composers befitting the season. Ensemble combinations such are guitar quartets, trios and solos will be included. Other featured composers include Villa-Lobos, Granados and Tarrega.
