Job Description: Organization: Established in 1964, the Company works to further contemporary dance as an accessible and valued art form, through performances of original and commissioned works, and dance education for all ages. Ririe-Woodbury serves more than 65,000 artists and audience members each year.
This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a small, dynamic, nationally renowned arts organization. You will work closely with local, national and international presenting organizations, in addition to educators and government entities. It is a fun, flexible work environment with a company making a positive contribution to the arts community.
Responsibilities: This position offers a variety of interesting responsibilities, including: securing performances and residencies in Utah, across the national and internationally; coordinating performances and residency activities; developing marketing materials, which includes social media, print and video; coordinating logistics for tours and incoming artists; negotiating contracts; maintaining yearly calendars; attending national conferences; and assisting with home season performances.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years marketing experience; a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communications or applicable liberal arts field; strong planning and multitasking skills; writing skills a must; sales experience; able to cultivate professional relationships over a long period of time; self motivator; computer proficiency in all MS Office applications, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; experience with social media; and the ability and willingness to work on a variety of projects in a small group with overlapping responsibilities.
