Affordable Care Act
Do you have questions about the new requirements under the Affordable Care Act? The Utah Nonprofits Association recently posted helpful information and a fact sheet at utahnonprofits.org.

Collections Care Courses
Caring for Yesterday's Treasures - Today is a series of free online collections care courses. Register for Caring for Audiovisual Materials or Outreach Activities for Collections Care classes to be held in October and November, or watch archived courses.

Archives Month
October is Archives Month and free events are being sponsored by special collections from across the state. Check out the calendar for more information.
New UA&M Assistant Director

Please join us in welcoming our new Assistant Director, Kirsten Darrington. Kirsten has been with UA&M since 2012 and before coming to us she worked with Utah Symphony l Utah Opera and Ririe Woodbury Dance Company.

WMA Conference October 9-12
Come find us or visit our table at the Western Museums Association Conference next week. And don't miss the Utah Museums Association breakfast on Saturday morning where we'll be honoring the two most recent recipients of the Utah Certificate of Museum Practice.
Arts Project Grants
Arts Project Grants are open now until the November 1 deadline. This is for arts projects that will take place between December 2013 and June 2014. Arts Project Grants are open to organizations that do not have arts as a primary focus.

Museum Consultants
