Craft Lake City Announces the Fifth Workshop of the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series @ at The Garage on Beck

Craft Lake City Announces the Fifth Workshop of the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series: Embroidery with The Cotton Floozy on Sept. 18!

SALT LAKE CITY – Craft Lake City presents the fifth installment in the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series: embroidery with The Cotton Floozy. Marie Brian is a local embroidery artist from Utah County, and the one-woman wonder of The Cotton Floozy who will demonstrate the basics of embroidery on a 4-inch hoop with help from her friends, the Happy Valley Crafters. Marie will give crafters a taste of her irreverent yet cutesy wit in her own embroidery, and all in attendance can stitch what they please with ease. Also, it’s $1 taco night at The Garage!
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at The Garage on Beck, a bar and restaurant located on 1199 Beck St. near the intersection of Beck and Victory Rd. This event lasts for two hours from 7 to 9 p.m., is 21-plus (sorry, kiddos), and there is a $5 materials and participation fee.
Craft Lake City has created the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series in an effort to not only support the handmade, DIY community, but also educate and encourage others to get involved and learn a new skill. Happening every other month at different locations, participants are taught a simple craft by Alum Artists of the Craft Lake City festival.
