The Opera Program at Weber State University is flourishing with talent
and opportunities. More and more students are starting to see and hear
what Weber State University has to offer them in the area of opera
study.
The successful production of Gilbert and Sullivan´s "The Gondoliers" in
2009 and "Die Fledermaus" by Strauss in 2011 marked the continuance of a
fully-produced opera every other year. Mozart´s "Die Zauberflöte (The
Magic Flute)" will be presented March 28-30, 2013. Dr. Brookens has
been directing this program for the last ten years.
