Weber State University Department of Performing Arts ASTA Student Chapter presents Hasse Borup, violin, and Heather Connor, piano, in a guest artist recital at 1:30 pm, Friday, September 21, in the Garrison Choral Room, BC136, Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts. This free performance is open to the public. Children 8 and older are welcome to attend.
Hasse Borup, who is associate professor and head of string and chamber music studies at the University of Utah’s School of Music will perform “Masques, Ten Short Pieces for Violin and Piano” (1965) by Vincent Persichetti (1915-1987) with Heather Conner, associate professor of piano at the U.
