The much anticipated Salt Lake City premiere of feature film Must Come Down is scheduled to screen at the Salt Lake City Film Festival on Sunday, September 23rd, at 7:00pm in the Broadway Centre Cinemas. A Q&A with the director and cast/crew will follow the screening.
Must Come Down is the directorial debut of artist and filmmaker Kenny Riches. After premiering at Cinequest San Jose, Must Come Down went on to play Phoenix Film Fest, Newport Beach Film Fest, and Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival. It will be on tour through Idaho, Oregon, and Washington immediately following the SLC Film Fest and has been invited to screen with Prescott Film Festival in October.
Must Come Down was shot on location in Salt Lake City, UT. It was produced by actor Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous, Saved!, Wristcutters, We Bought A Zoo, etc.) and producer Dominic Fratto (White on Rice, Henri 2.0). It stars Salt Lake City stage talent, David Fetzer (Salt Lake Acting Co. and Plan B Theatre) and Ashly Burch, co-creator of the popular webisode Hey Ash Whatcha’ Playin’? It was scored by Salt Lake City musician Andrew Shaw, and also features music by local bands Tolchok Trio, Cathy Foy, and Palace of Buddies.
