Discovery Gateway: ZAP Free Day Thursday, March 14 Discovery Gateway: The Children’s Museum of Utah will host ZAP Free Day to thank the voters of Salt Lake County for supporting the Zoo Arts and Parks program (ZAP).  One year memberships will be $10 off during the event and the museum will unveil Imagination Playground, a new exhibit offering. Young Dancer Workshop - Passport to Partnering Saturday, March 9 & 16 1 - 4 PM Do you ever wonder how choreographers come up with those great partnering moments you see in dance concerts? Or how the dancers actually make them work? Well, here is a workshop for you! This workshop will expand students' knowledge and skills in the art of choreography and the mechanics of partnering. RDT dancers will instruct students in different partnering skills, sequences and composition, as well as improvisation exercises that will lead to the creation of new choreography. Through the Lens: The Crash Reel Wednesday, March 13 7 PM This eye-popping, yet intimate, story of U.S. champion snowboarder Kevin Pearce uses years of footage to expose the excitement and appeal, as well as the high stakes of participating in extreme-action sports. Training to compete against longtime rival Shaun White at the 2010 Winter Olympics, Kevin suffered severe traumatic brain injury from a 2009 accident in Park City, Utah.
