Job Summary
Utah Symphony | Utah Opera’s Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing all public relations and communications strategies for the Utah Symphony, Utah Opera, and Deer Valley® Music Festival.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
· Bachelor degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism or equivalent experience
· Minimum 3 years working in Public Relations in an organization of a similar size/scope of USUO. Strong media relations background.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of and interest in classical music and opera
· Outstanding organizational skills, project management experience, superior interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
· Proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
