Position Summary: This position coordinates various graphic design, brand standards and other projects for internal and external audiences across print and electronic channels. Actively participates in the creative planning and implementation process of integrating marketing tactics to support the organization's growth goals and strategies. Works in a highly collaborative team environment to promote the organization brand and provide marketing assistance to other departments. Coordinates with Communications Manager, Marketing Manager, and Social Media Manager. Reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Essential Responsibilities: Develop concepts for and design collateral materials, including the Gazette, direct mail, postcards, online banner ads, newsletters, flyers, invitations, vouchers, electronic billboard ads, and coupons as needed. Meet all deadlines. Manage and maintain graphic files, including logos, photos and art, as well as sponsor logos. Assist Marketing team with brainstorming, marketing and advertising strategies. Work with Center staff to generate information and approvals for materials Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. Responsible for managing the production process (bids, scheduling, production and delivery) of producing publications and collateral, from concept through production, including photography, separations, 4-color press work and digital production. Other related projects as assigned by the Vice President of Marketing.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience: Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications or related field or equivalent experience. Three years experience in print graphic design. Experience with website design and updates. Experience quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers. Macintosh knowledge, good working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and experience with Microsoft Office. Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to handle multiple projects at once. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Shifts: This is a full time position, which includes a benefit package. Must be able to work a flexible schedule: general schedule will be 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday, but regular early morning, late evening and weekend assignments are required.
