Summary (20 word max; used for enews blast): A dedicated educator to teach and contribute to the planning and execution of education and cultural programs and special events.
Job Description: The Museum Educator will teach and actively contribute to the planning, execution and measurement of all education and cultural progams, special events and exhibit areas. The Museum Educator will support Arts, Early Childhood Educators, Science and School Coordinators. Responsible to teach the Saturday Curiosity Shop and any other special or regular programming that may occur, as assigned by the Education and Cultural Programs Manager. Maintain an accurate and organized portfolio of all records and data, reporting information on a weekly basis. A Bachelor's degree in education is preferred. An educator dedicated to inspiring chldren of all ages and a commitment to education, learning and professional development. Group presentation experience preferred. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. General knowledge of computer software and systems.
