Volunteers Needed for the 2011 Utah Arts Festival
Registration is now open at www.uaf.org
Salt Lake City, UT: The Utah Arts Festival is now accepting applications for volunteer positions for the upcoming Festival running Thursday through Sunday, June 23–26, 2011 on Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City.
It takes a team of more than 1,000 volunteers to help build, run and close the Festival with opportunities available to fit many skill levels, talents and interests. Volunteer areas include everything from building stages and greeting patrons to working with artists and painting faces.
Interested individuals or groups may register at www.uaf.org/volunteer or e-mail questions to the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@uaf.org.
The Utah Arts Festival is the largest outdoor multi-disciplinary arts event in the state and was recently ranked as the 14th best art festival in the country. The Festival welcomes 150+ visual artists, 100+ performing artists, 18+ culinary artists and draws approximately 80,000 patrons during the 4-day event.
