SALT LAKE MAGAZINE HIRES KEVIN JONES
AS DIRECTOR OF ADVERTISING
Salt Lake magazine is pleased to announce its recent hire of Kevin Jones, who has joined the organization as director of advertising and will work ou tof the Salt Lake City office.
Jones will lead Salt Lake magazine's professional sales team. His proven background in building successful sales organizations and maintaining profitability and growth will help to ensure continued development within the company's product line, which includes Salt Lake magazine, Utah Style & Design and Utah Bride & Groom.
"We are excited to have Kevin on our team," says Publisher Margaret Mary Shuff. "He impressed us with his excellent track record, and the positive feedback we received from his previous employees and supervisors." Jones comes to Salt Lake magazine with 25 years of professional sales and management experience by connecting local customers with local businesses. Most recently, he was a sales director of print and online products at DexOne Media in ALbuquerque, N.M., a business that provides marketing solutions to more than 400,000 businesses nationwide. He started his career in sales and has held positions as a field product trainer and regional sales manager. In addition, Kevin has extensive training in coaching and developing call centers, acquisition and outside sales teams.
"I intend to apply my sales management experience and communication skills to teaching and developing our local sales teams and to increase our client base at Salt Lake magazine," Jones says. "I am so honored to be part of this organization and a team that continually produces award-winning magazines profiling local fashion, dining and latest trends."
